Bridgeport MBDA Celebrates Native American Heritage Month
"Proud and Prosperous in Indian Country"

Every year, our Nation pauses to reflect on the profound ways the First Americans have shaped our country's character and culture. The first stewards of our environment, early voices for the values that define our Nation, and models of government to our Founding Fathers -- American Indians and Alaska Natives helped build the very fabric of America.

                                                                                                                                      President Barack Obama
2015 Presidential Proclamation: National Native American Heritage Month

The Bridgeport MBDA Business Center would like to honor 2015 National Native American Heritage Month and acknowledge and celebrate the significant contributions of Native American-owned businesses to the U.S. economy.
The Bridgeport Center is part of a national network of 44 interconnected MBDA Business Centers and one of six centers focused on enhancing the economic capability of the US Native American and Alaska Native communities.
We address the unique economic challenges and opportunities in Indian Country and strive to be an advocate to support new job creation innovation and entrepreneurship for future generations. We commemorate this heritage month and pay tribute to all Native Americans past and present for their legacy of character, strength, and tradition.
