The Elm City Bowl is so much more than just a football game. No offense to the two teams and the two high schools. But from my viewpoint whenever we come out to have fun, coordinate, share, laugh, yell, cheer and support one another the original purpose transforms itself into a wellspring of our better selves on exhibit. Public spaces are designed for this purpose, be it sports venues, parks, pavilions or greens. It was an honor for Ficklin Media to photo document this annual community celebration.
