Can We All Get Along- CT Commemorates the Civil War

Can We All Get Along

Join the Connecticut Civil War Commemoration Commission and Bauer Park for the final Commission sponsored encampment of the 150th anniversary commemoration of the Civil War.
After four years that have included an amazing array of events, an impressive range of new scholarship and understanding of Connecticut's important role in the Civil War, and an interaction with the public that has placed the state as one of New England's leaders in the 150th anniversary, the Civil War Commemoration comes to a close on the last weekend of August, 2015.
Scenic Bauer Park in Madison, CT is the site of the final big event, which will feature hundreds of reenactors, history displays, and a step back through time into the heart of America's greatest struggle. Be there for the last great battle on Saturday and the official closing ceremonies on Sunday.
