FYI
Note From Hurst

Good Morning!

On behalf of the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council, I want to thank everyone who contributed to the success of our 2015 Supplier Diversity Golf Classic: the golfers; the volunteers; the staff at Lake of Isles; the staff at Foxwoods; our Board Members; our annual sponsors and our Golf Classic Sponsors; and the talented and hardworking staff of GNEMSDC. We had great weather, a large contingent of golfers, two tough yet beautiful golf courses, and a great opportunity to make connections that I hope will lead to contracts.

I have a special word of thanks for the stakeholders that provide GNEMSDC with a reason to exist: our corporate members; and our certified MBEs. Our work of connecting our MBEs with corporations that seek to find and use diverse suppliers is more important than ever. When those connections lead to contracts and increased revenue for our MBEs, we are reducing the income and wealth gap that exists in our region and helping our MBEs to provide employment opportunities in the communities where they do business.

So thanks again for attending the Golf Classic, and thanks for all that you do to improve our communities.

Sincerely,

Peter F. Hurst, Jr
President and CEO
