Not sure if these innovators were looking for market share , marching to the tune of free enterprise
or seeking an entertainment contract just outside the recent NAACP convention in Philadelphia. Maybe they were invoking the theme of drum majors for justice in the City of brotherly love and sisterly affection. Regardless of their no doubt multiple intentions this US cauldron of history produces various varieties of creativity and survival strategies.
