Mayor Toni Harp and Martha Okafor, her Community Services Administrator, have been working since the fall with a number of community agencies and leaders, including many of you, to develop what they are calling aCity Transformation Plan. They and the leaders of the Work Groups involved are holding a Community Expo onTuesday, July 28 from 5:30-8:30 PM at Beecher School in New Haven to bring the community together to review the preliminary results, provide input and ideas, and to get engaged for implementation. The school at at 100 Jewell Street, near Fitch and Blake Streets.
Dinner and child care will be provided.
The City has asked us to help get the word out to all of you and they would appreciate any help you could provide to get the word out to others and connect with specific people in your circles who might be interested.
