Free parking is available at the hotel’s self-parking garage. You will receive a voucher at the event to pay as you exit the lot. Parking at any other location cannot be reimbursed.

Admission is free — registration is strongly recommended in order to guarantee the ability to meet one–on–one with a professional to determine your eligibility. Only one registration per household is needed.

Having these financial documents with you will help when you meet to discuss qualification for down payment assistance and home financing options. Note: If you’ve been pre-approved or pre-qualified for a mortgage by any lender recently, please bring a printed copy of the letter.

HomeLIFT down payment assistance
Interested homebuyers must meet specific program requirements to be eligible for down payment assistance and benefits.
- You must be approved for home financing.
- Your household income must be equal to or less than 120% of the area median income.
- You must attend homebuyer education sessions before your closing — the sessions are available through Neighborhood Housing Services of New Haven or a HUD–approved counseling agency that has adopted the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling
- If you currently own a home, it must be sold before closing, and it cannot be rented/leased.

To support sustainable homeownership and advance neighborhood stability, the HomeLIFTSM program looks to the future by delivering down payment assistance and financial education to homebuyers.2
1. This down payment assistance program is available for households earning 120% or less of the area’s median income, adjusted for household size, although specific loan products have lower income limits. HomeLIFT funds cannot be used to purchase bank-owned properties being managed by Wells Fargo Premier Asset Services.
2. The HomeLIFT program is a collaborative program of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., and NeighborWorks® America, an independent nonprofit organization.
Wells Fargo team members are not eligible to participate in the HomeLIFT Down Payment Assistance Program. This limitation also applies to a team member's immediate family, including spouses and dependent children, where the team member would have beneficial ownership of the property that was the subject of the DAP. Although Wells Fargo is the sponsor of the HomeLIFT program, you may seek financing for the remaining balance of the home purchase from any qualified lender who accepts the HomeLIFT down payment assistance program.
