NAACP Announces March From Selma to Washington, D.C.
Amid controversy surrounding one of the organization's branch presidents, the NAACP on Monday announced an innovative campaign, titled “America’s Journey for Justice,” a 860-mile march from Selma, Ala., to Washington, to highlight vulnerable communities subject to regressive voting rights tactics.
