Ficklin Media Note: Historians could equally term this initiative as the Barbara Fair Commission, The Malik Jones Long Overdue Commission, The Effects of a Mother's Love and Devotion Emma Jones Commission, the Christian Community Commission City Hall Recognition Commission or the Cinque Commission. We could also term it the Honorable John Daniels Commission to commemorate his community policing leadership 25 years ago.
Regardless of the historical antecedents here is another opportunity for the city sof New Haven to be that city on the hill that shines for all in the quest to be one city, a just city, a prosperous city and not a disparate cluster of contention.
Hat's off to the Mayor of New Haven for manifesting the reality that we are all responsible and key ingredient to any collective solution.
