I was reading the current Yale Divinity School publication, " Reflections" which is devoted to the theme Divine Radiance: Keeping Faith with Beauty.
I will admit that I view much of life through the lens of politics and economics and from my vantage even the definitions of faith and beauty are subject to politics and economics.
Certainly folks have been burned at the stake due to their faith beliefs and when a Picasso painting can be sold for millions of dollars versus a John Bigger's painting for much less the peculiarities of societal economic valuation are manifest.
For my money, the picture above is a divine radiance capture of keeping faith with beauty.
There was a recently an instagam picture of what was reported to be the most beautiful women in the world, due to her seductive persona ,who happened to be from Russia.
Alternatively can we consider perhaps that true divine radiance-faith-beauty is in essence an integrated stream possessed by all of us, all of us can express it, all of us possess it.
