Congratulations to the 2015 Skoll Awardees for Social Entrepreneurship
Tonight at the Skoll World Forum, we honored a true global treasure, Graça Machel, and were inspired by the stories of the recipients of the 2015 Skoll Awards for Social Entrepreneurship.


Tonight, Graça Machel accepted her Skoll Global Treasure Award. We were treated to an inspiring account of her life’s work and lively discussion with Ann Cotton of Camfed. See more from tonight’s ceremony in the full Skoll Awards recap.



Jagdeesh Rao Puppala of the Foundation for Ecological Security accepted his Skoll Award by sharing a story of a girl who no longer has to spend hours a day finding food for her animals and can instead go to school. See more about his work in this video and in our Skoll Awards Recap.

Safeena Husain from Educate Girls accepted her Skoll Award by saying “I am Safeena Husain, and I educate girls.” We’re excited to see how many girls' lives will change through the opportunity of education. Ma Jun from the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs received his Skoll Award for lifting the veil on pollution in China.
