THE SUMMIT 2015
CT Student Leadership Conference for
YOUNG MEN OF COLOR
Training for the Next Generation of Leaders
Each
conference session will engage participants in a unique topic or
exercise designed to understand and expand one’s vision of self and the
possibilities for the future. Participants will gain insight into their
personal strengths and style of leadership. They will connect with other
talented students and presenters, creating a community of supporters
and allies for the opportunities and challenges to come. Not only will
the presentations inspire and inform, they will serve as a springboard
for work on goals, projects, ideas and concerns participants are facing
in their own communities and lives. One part of this conference is about networking, getting ideas, establishing communities of support and resources. Another part is about finding the unique skill set, voice and passion that each one of us has inside.
