This picture from a meeting of the Association of Blacks for Progress , during my year's at Bucknell University from 1967-1971 brings back many memories.
Reconstructing , reinterpreting , reflecting and reviving is always a tricky task.
What is awakened might be a dormant fantasy rather than a guidepost to understanding. Nonetheless
living, working and carving out a professional life during these last several decades in America and viewing this picture is a seminal refreshment.
This refreshment , this resetting is a blessing to embrace.
Whatever you have experienced in your life, try not to let the past define you but strive to let it inspire you.
