For better or for worse, Education continues to be political and economic. From it being illegal to teach a slave to read, to the bible being written in latin, to Brown versus Board of Education to the umpteen Sheff versus O'neil iterations here in ct, to Common Core to rotten individual apples the allocation over resources, revenue allocations, and public spending decisions continues to rage.
