am so excited to launch a new year of our podcast with the great Anna
Deavere Smith. She and I get very intimate and personal about Baltimore
-- our hometown, where we went to the same h.s. (Western) in different
years -- and race, and her new "Pipeline Project" about the
school-to-prison pipeline. We also cut the conversation in a new way
that I think gets us closer to the intimacy we seek in these convos. And
once again, thanks to everyone who helped our Kickstarter succeed so we
can have this conversation, with more great ones to come (including Simon Vaut and Deborah Copaken)....
