The State of Our Community: The Problem, The Discussion and the Resolution-Town Hall, Hartford Public Library, 12/18- 6 pm

You are invited to attend a very important conversation:

The State of our Community:
The Problem, The Discussion and The Resolution - Town Hall
Thursday, December 18th at 6PM
Downtown Hartford Public Library

What would it really take to transform the negative perceptions of our community in today's culture or society and how do we answer the question, "Is it really worth it?"

There will also be representatives of local civic, faith-base and non-profits available to discuss their programs and services for youth and families because we know that it's not something any single entity or community can solve.  When we come together we can effect change.
Youth and other community stakeholders are encouraged to attend!

Confirmed guests include: Pedro Seggara, Mayor (Hartford), James Rovella, Chief of Police (Hartford), Gerald Hariston, SERC, Elbert Gray, President, BSL Chapter of Alpha Phil Alpha Fraternity, Douglass McCrory, State Representative (Hartford), Angel Arce, State Representative (Hartford), Marichal B. Monts, Pastor of the Citadel of Love and Police Chaplain (Hartford),  Juliano A. Andujo, Pastor of the Phillips Metropolitan CME Church (Hartford) and others.

Yours Truly,

Brandon McGee, Jr., President
Beta Sigma Lambda Educational Foundation
