Season Greetings: New Haven Youth UnleashED came together for our end of year celebration of successes and challenges.
1. Several of our senior members have visited and been accepted into colleges - 2 of them with FULL scholarships:)
2. One of our junior members had a "perfect" SAT test score
3.Youth Unleashed will continue in 2015 with their collaboration work with Grow Hartford around issues of healthy school foods. They also plan to work with the New London youth community around food justice.
4. a few of our youth members help produce a powerful play at their New Haven high school entitled "A living newspaper the Ferguson project"
5. Join us in 2015 for year round youth leadership and campaign development workshops
6. 2015 will also begin the Turn it Up about Education social justice movement tour that will Educate-Engage & Mobilize youth around issues that help improve their quality of life . This is a 15 school tour - stay tuned for more details - Meetings will resume January 9th 2015
