Ignite!
New Haven, a new crowdfunding initiative that launched today through
the Office of Development and Policy in the City of New Haven.
Crowdfunding is the process of funding a project or venture by raising
small amounts of money from a large number of individual donors,
typically via a web platform. Ignite! New Haven, the City’s
crowdfunding site, is an online community where citizens, entrepreneurs,
social innovators, non-profits and City officials come together to propose
and support business and civic initiatives that increase the vitality
of this historic and creative city. We hope the website boosts civic
engagement and stimulates
