Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III ’95 M.Div.,
Senior Pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, is our
Lyman Beecher lecturer this year! His father Rev. Otis Moss, Jr.,
delivered the Beecher Lectures ten years ago and will also be present.
Please join us for this historic event.
Rev. Dr. Dwight Andrews ’77 M.Div., ’93 M.Phil., ’93 Ph.D.,
will be presented with the Lux et Veritas Award at the YDS Alumni
Awards Dinner and Presentation in Yale Commons on Thursday evening
October 23.
Recognizing a number of 50th anniversaries taking place
in the struggle for Civil Rights, we will host a panel discussion on
Thursday afternoon: “YDS & Civil Rights: Reflections at 50 Years”.
We top Thursday off with a YDS Black Alumni and Students Reception, from 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at the Afro American Cultural Center.
