September 27th  - Saturday (New Haven, CT)  Lyman Center presents: "Jazz Trio of Chuck Loeb, Jeff Lorber & Everette Harp" This is the first show in the series and sure to burn the house down!  THREE titans of contemporary jazz music came together and created ONE special album and bring you ONE BIG show filled with Jazz, Funk, Soul!   


September 27th - Saturday  (Boston, MA)  Berklee School of Music presents: "14th Annual Bean Town Jazz FestivalCreated 14 years ago by the visionary Darryl Settles, the Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival has delighted tens of thousands with a host of jazz, Latin, blues, and groove acts. Our communities come out in force-with attendance swelling to 70,000 strong at its height-to enjoy world-class music on three stages, great eats, and good times stretching six blocks in Boston's historic South End. Families are entertained with face painting, inflatables, photos, and an instrument petting zoo. More than 70 vendors participate, making the Berklee BeanTown Jazz Festival the place to be. 
 


   
October 3rd  - Friday  (Providence, RI)  Rhode Island Black Business Association (RIBBA) presents:  "3rd Annual Gala"  You are cordially invited to attend the 2014 Annual Awards Gala as we celebrate extraordinary leaders and outstanding achievements.  We hope we can count you in this year's celebration. 
Proceeds from this events support RIBBA's Scholarship Fund which provides needed financial support to college bound students in Rhode Island. 
As part of this momentous event, Mr. Kirk A. Sykes, President of the Urban Strategy American Fund and former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston will be the Keynote Speaker.  Mr. Sykes is a passionate and seasoned leader with 25 years of combined finance, development, architecture, and community-based experience.
Mr. Sykes was the lead partner in the development and operation of the first African American built hotel in Boston, MA.
