killing, as he prepares to head back to Ferguson, MO to lead Sunday’s
rally. Rev. Sharpton will stand with the family of Eric Garner and
Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, who has led a congressional delegation in
calling for the US Department OF Justice to take over the Garner case.
Rev. Sharpton will address how both the Brown & Garner killings
demonstrate that this county has an overly zealous and aggressive police
policy towards alleged petty crimes. He is set to lead a rally in
Ferguson, MO with the family of Michael Brown on Sunday, as he prepares
for the march in Staten Island next Saturday, August 23rd. The
march will begin from the scene where Garner was choked to death, and
end in a massive rally at the Staten Island District Attorney’s office.
