Join the members of the black/hispanic caucus of the BOA and other food activist tomorrow at 9am at Goffe street park. We will be going door to door in the neighborhoods to tell residents about the free summer food program in the city. Breakfast,lunch and dinner will be available to anyone 18 and younger. Please come out and help us get the word out then join us for hotdogs and fun!

Connecticut No Kid Hungry, End Hunger Connecticut!, New Haven Public Schools and the New Haven Food Policy Council will be doing a summer meals Blitz tomorrow morning 9am to get info out to the community about FREE SUMMER MEALS. If you want to help with door to door knocking and flyering meet at Goffe St Park across from Hillhouse at 9am. This counts for volunteer hours for teens for NH Promise too!
We are very excited to announce that the Office of Governor Dannel P. Malloy, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rosa DeLauro and the Commissioner of Education, Stephan Pryor, will be in attendance at our kickoff event tomorrow in New Haven, CT to say a few words!
