About the Community Healing Network

The Community Healing Network, Inc. (CHN), is a New Haven-based nonprofit organization focused on building a grassroots movement for the emotional emancipation of Black people everywhere.

Our vision is a world in which every Black person is joyful about being Black.

Our mission is to mobilize Black people to overcome the lie of Black inferiority and the emotional legacies of enslavement and racism so that we can all reach our full potential.

Our goal is to provide resources and trainings to spark the creation of a global network of local self-help groups focused on emotional emancipation, healing, and wellness for Black people.
