Some news from the Capitol - the Connecticut Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is at risk. The EITC was cut in 2013, and is scheduled to be restored this year. Now the legislature might be considering not restoring these cuts.

We need your help.

Contact House and Senate Leadership Today!    

Stop a tax hike on Connecticut's working-poor families! Call leadership NOW to make sure last year's cut to the earned income tax credit (EITC) is reversed as planned.

The Connecticut EITC reduces the income taxes of more than 186,000 households in every town in the state. Cutting the EITC means raising taxes on hard-working families raising children.

To safeguard this crucial support, please call the offices of:

CAHS is asking our members to contact House and Senate Legislative Leadership TODAY and ask that the Connecticut State EITC is preserved.  Time take action.
