WHAT WHITE PEOPLE CAN DO ABOUT RACISM

Yellow Tan
Spring 2014 Workshops

For Immediate Release

Registration is open!

Dear anti-racist colleagues,

I'm writing to announce the spring lineup of introductory and 200-level What White People Can Do About Racism workshops.  The workshops are appropriate for white people who are open to learning what to do about racism, perhaps feeling they should be doing something but not sure what. The workshop is also appropriate for people of color who want to support white people who want to take action against racism.
We're offering our introductory workshop, What White People Can Do About Racism, Fundamentals Part 1, on Saturday, March 15 at Brooklyn Friends School, and on Saturday, April 19 at the Plainfield Quaker Meetinghouse in Plainfield, NJ.  The workshop runs from 9am - 3:30pm.
If you have attended a previous "What White People Can Do About Racism" workshop, you're welcome to sit in for a refresher, free of charge (space permitting).
For those who have taken part in the intro workshop and/or in the Undoing Racism Training by the People's Institute for Survival and Beyond, we invite you to a 200-level workshop, White Accountability and Organizing, on June 7 at the Calhoun School in Manhattan, 9:30am - 3:00pm.  Flyer is forthcoming.

Registration is now open for all workshops. There is a maximum of 15 participants, so we recommend early registration. Please register no later than the Wednesday prior to the workshop you choose.

Please share this information with friends and colleagues.
