New York City Premiere

We're looking forward to the New York City Premiere of our epic documentary film, THROUGH A LENS DARKLY: Black Photographers and the Emergence of a People. We are the Closing Night film of MoMA's Documentary Fortnight.
We couldn't have made it here without all of you and your generous contributions of time, energy, talent and especially your photographs! We have tried to be true to the vision and ideals that have informed this project since Deborah Willis first approached us about a film around her ground-breaking book, Reflections in Black: Black Photographers from 1840 to the Present.
We have been getting RAVE reviews! And INCREDIBLE press coverage! Along with GREAT support! And AWARDS!
- Official Selection, New Frontier, Sundance Film Festival
- Official Selection, Panorama, Berlin International Film Festival
- Festival Programmers' Award for Best Documentary, Pan African Film Festival
- Fund for Santa Barbara Social Justice Award for Documentary Film,
  Santa Barbara International Film Festival

Now...our Home Town (NYC) premiere is almost upon us! And we would love to share it with you!
