DANNY'S RESIDENCY CONTINUES at PREGONES!
Our
much beloved Danny returns for a one-night only intimate concert of
Tango and Jazz, led by acclaimed bassist Konrad Adderley!
Considered one of the giants of American music, jazz pianist and composer Thelonious Sphere Monk
had a unique improvisational style full of dissonances and angular
melodic twists, combined with a highly percussive attack, and dramatic
use of silences and hesitations. It is in this signature style that
bassist Konrad Adderley finds a common thread with the passionate structure of Argentine Tango.
Add the spectacularly warm voice of the great Danny Rivera and you have
the makings of a unique and truly memorable night of jazz/tango music.
