There
is a heavy “war versus peace” theme in the atmosphere this month. A
shift is beginning to occur as to new realizations concerning what peace
actually means in terms of creating harmony in relationships. As this
new understanding reveals itself, the possibility of creating lasting
peace becomes real.
The square between Uranus in Aries
and Pluto in Capricorn continues its fiery upheaval that is upsetting
the status quo. Established government is in conflict with
individuality, personal initiative, and freedom.
This
theme is apparent in the world as we look at all the revolutions being
waged against tyrannical governments. It is also evident in our personal
lives wherever we are seeking to resist structures that have become
confining or that have outlived their usefulness in terms of providing
security. Since the square between Uranus and Pluto in the cardinal
signs Aries and Capricorn began in June 2012, structures that are
restrictive are being called into question.
All month,
Jupiter in Cancer is in range of a square to Uranus and opposition to
Pluto, adding fuel to the fire and transforming that outer-planet square
into a powerful T-square. Added to the mix of revolution is the feeling
that we want a secure home and a foundation we can count on. Family
becomes increasingly important as we begin to recognize how crucial
close relationships are to our survival and to the survival to those we
love. The desire for security has become an additional and equally
strong ingredient in the desire to resist authority and to forge our own
path.
The issue becomes one of values and priorities.
What is important? Close family connection or personal survival? Being
independent or being part of a structure we can count on to protect us
in times of crisis?
Expressed in the financial world, conflict would mean a choice between working independently or . . . . .
