It's Kwanzaa
time at New Haven City Hall! December 26 at 5:15. Drumming, Dancing,
Feasting, and more festivities. And most importantly its FREE! See you
all there from everywhere Thursday, December 26!
The event is annually sponsored by the Black and Hispanic Caucus. It will feature performances by DjumWorks, Hamden's Ultimate Dance Experience, F.A.M.E Enterprises and the Nation Drill Team and Drum Corps and a presentation of the seven principles by the New Haven Youth Commission. Pastors Eldren Morrison of Varick A.M.E. Church, Todd Foster of Church on the Rock, and Father RIchard Meadows and Rector of St. Luke's Episcopal Church will do the keynote. Food will be provided by Cast Iron Soul. This is a free event that all are welcomed to attned. It goes on regardless of the weather. As we say we don't cancel Kwanzaa because its snows.
All are encouraged to spread the word about this event and to attend with their children and friends.
