Code for America Summit
Over the past several years, a growing movement of technologists, government officials, and activists has emerged, working to leverage technology to fundamentally change the way government works — to make government more open and more efficient. Over three days in October each year in San Francisco, the Code for America Summit brings this community together for a candid conversation about where we are, where we want to go, and how we’ll get there.
The CfA Summit is an annual invitation-only gathering of civic technology leaders, ranging from Mayors to entreprenuers, from community organizers to CTOs; the common thread for the 300+ mix of attendees is a shared belief that a government of the people, by the people can work for the 21st century.
While speakers and formats vary each year, the Summit focuses on four key themes that have emerged in our movement over the past few years:
