Toni Harp for Mayor

Toni Harp for Mayor:
Toni speakingToni on steps
Toni Harp has dedicated her life as a community organizer and state senator to fighting for social justice and New Haven’s middle class. She has led the charge on every issue that matters to New Haven’s working families: jobs, living wages, retirement security and health care, and first-class public education for our children.
Toni understands that our public schools are the great equalizers that give our kids a chance to excel academically, enter top-tier universities and become the future leaders of our nation. She will work to ensure that all of our children have access to schools that will prepare them for the jobs of the future.
Education

Improving Education

Toni believes education is the foundation that will help our kids prepare for the jobs of the future. As Mayor, she will:
  • Ensure money is spent efficiently with better academic results;
  • Provide universal early childhood education;
  • Expand access to higher education and work experiences for our children; and
  • Retool adult education and classroom experiences.
“Toni has been fighting for New Haven all of her adult life.”
