Denise Nappier is serving her fourth term as Treasurer for the State
of Connecticut.
In this
role she has been one of the most active
Treasurers in the country advocating for minority representation on
corporate boards, in senior corporate management and for the uti-
lization of diverse suppliers by large public companies.
Treasurer Nappier will talk about some of her experiences in these
efforts and the lessons that area corporations can learn to enhance
their attractiveness to the State of Connecticut and other large in-
stitutional investors who are using their financial leverage for social
change.
