September 10th is do-or-die for the Toni Harp campaign.
Let's do it.
Two weeks to go.
The other candidates have all petitioned onto the ballot for November's election, so for them the primary is just a test run. We haven't because we respect the process of the New Haven Democratic Party. But that means Toni needs to win two elections -- and she's going to, with your help.

Today, Senator Murphy endorsed Toni for Mayor. In his speech he talked about Toni's track record of bringing high-tech jobs to New Haven, expanding health care for the uninsured, and balancing the budget.
But I've got some bad news: Chris Murphy loves Toni, but he can't vote for her. Only you can make sure that Toni wins the election. We need every able-bodied supporter out on the doors this week. We'd like to recruit 2,000 new Toni supporters by Sunday. Can you help us reach that goal?
Donate $2 to show you've got Toni's back!
Every night we have phone bankers at our headquarters, calling voters to talk to them about Toni Harp. The best way to convince a voter is to have a conversation with them. So we're having conversations with voters about Toni. Join us. Come to 560 Whalley Avenue and bring some of your friends.
Or you can walk instead. There are always plenty of doors to hit. We guarantee you a walking partner and a list of likely voters to talk to.
One last way you can help Toni is by coming to the debate on Wednesday wearing a t-shirt or sticker showing your support. Toni always does best at debates when she can see lots of friendly faces in the crowd. We have a few tickets left at the headquarters, but anyone can reserve a ticket by calling Long Wharf Theatre's box office at (203) 787-4282. Call as soon as possible to get your ticket and make sure that the crowd is on Toni's side.
The best news: tickets to the debate are absolutely FREE.
P.S. We need to reach everyone in New Haven -- everyone in the New Haven area -- who cares about the future of our city. Please forward this newsletter to all of your friends. Tell them that if they want to get more updates from Toni, they can sign up on our website.
Walk for Toni this weekend! Join the volunteer canvass: Saturday at 10 am and 2 pm
and Sunday at 3 pm!
As always, if you have any further questions, want to express support for the campaign in some way, or just want to chat, reply to this message. Or call 203-389-2122.
We’ll be here.
