About the 2013 National Poetry Slam
Thanks for visiting us here at the official site for the 2013 National Poetry Slam! This site is maintained by the Host City committee for the event, in conjunction with Poetry Slam, Inc. (PSi), and is intended to serve as an evolving guide to the event for competitors, volunteers, and audience alike.This year’s National Poetry Slam will take place in greater Boston, Massachusetts, with events in Boston proper, Cambridge, and Somerville. Opening ceremonies will kick off on Monday, August 12, 2013, with competition taking place from Tuesday, August 13 through Saturday, August 17. Up to eighty-eight teams will compete for the honor of being named National Poetry Slam Champions by PSi.
