The City is now accepting applications for the Fall 2013 Session of Democracy School - a nine session course aimed at introducing residents to their local government. Residents will get to talk to key administrators and decision-makers in city government and local politics. City officials will talk about their work and lead question and answer sessions aimed at fostering open lines of communication, enabling participants to take full advantage of city resources, and empowering residents to become community leaders.
Democracy School meets every Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at interesting locations across the City for nine weeks. The Fall 2013 Session will begin Wednesday, September 11th and end Wednesday, November 6th.
