COMMUNITY CONVERSATION re: The Zimmerman Verdict
Dixwell Congregational United Church of Christ will be sponsoring a Community Conversation entitled “TELLING OUR STORY – HEALING OUR WOUNDS”; the Zimmerman verdict, a Community Conversation about how we can constructively and non-violently turn a tragedy into a triumph.
This evening of concern will be held on Monday, July 22nd, 2013 @ 7:00 p.m. – 217 Dixwell Avenue – New Haven, CT. EVERYONE IS INVITED.
Sitting on a Panel that evening will be Assistant Chief Thaddeus Reddish- NHPD, State Representative Toni Walker, Onya Harris, President NH Black Social Workers Assoc., Teddy Brown Sr., Retired Detective Sgt., WHPD, Rev. Keith King, Pastor Christian Tabernacle Church. The Rev. Dr. Jerry Streets will facilitate the evening as you all come prepared to share your concerns and thoughts about the outcome of No Justice for Trayvon Martin.
