The Black and Hispanic Caucus of the New Haven Board of Aldermen will Present a 2013 Black History Program

The Black and Hispanic Caucus of the New Haven Board of Aldermen will  
Present a 2013 Black History Program titled "New Haven's Black History" Friday, 
February 22, 2013 at 6 PM in City Hall. The event will include the current 
display in City Hall of some iconic parts of New Haven's Black History, a 
keynote speech by Dr. Rodney Cohen, Director of the Afro American Cultural 
Center and Assistant Dean at Yale University, presentations about famous 
contributors to New Haven's Black History, dance  performances by The Company 
from Southern CT. State University, and the Ultimate Dance Experience, spoken 
word performances  by Baub Bidon, surprise musical performances.  There will be  
free food courtesy of Cast Iron Soul restaurant.. The event begins at 6 PM and
