COPING & CARING PARENT EXPRESS BUS
  (HELPING CONNECTICUT COMMUNITIES HEAL)

Countless Connecticut residents and people across America struggle to
cope with the grievous aftermath of the tragic shooting that resulted in
the loss of 20 children and six adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School
in Newtown, Connecticut.

Such a senseless act of violence makes expressing grief difficult as
adults grapple with ways to explain the tragedy to young children and
offer comfort knowing the violence occurred in a place considered a safe
haven – a school.

The All Aboard – Coping and Caring Parent Express Bus hopes to bring
comfort to Connecticut communities by visiting locations throughout
Connecticut from DECEMBER 21-24, hosting various healing activities.
There will be a special presentation in Newtown by Connecticut youth.

  Activities include:

   * The creation of personal condolences cards for the families and
community of Sandy Hook Elementary School to be hand-delivered in
Newtown.
   * Grief and bereavement counselors, children's books giveaways,
Characters w. book readings and healing activities on coping with life
and loss will be available on the bus.
   * A Heroes Tribute to Educators and First Responders.
