As most of you may know, I have been coaching youth football for quite a while and as most coaches, strive to participate in the “Big Dance” or the championship game. I am happy to report, my youth foot
ball team, the New Haven Steelers Junior Peewee 1, will be heading to Florida to compete in the Pop Warner National Championship.
The young men worked hard all season long and for some this is an opportunity of a lifetime, as many of the children never traveled outside of the state of Connecticut , and a trip to Disney was unfathomable. I am asking for your help. We are scheduled to leave on Friday, November 30, 2012, which does not leave much time to raise funds, but we have some children who parents need help to defray the cost of the trip. We are seeking donations and any amount would be greatly appreciated.
If you follow the link bellow, you will be to contribute and all funds will go into a secured PayPal account, then disbursement. However, if you would rather make a donation by mail or in person, send me a message and I will be happy to give a central mailing address or arrange to pick up much appreciated donations.

reposted: I was hoping that you could spread the word, New Haven Steelers won there last game in MA saturday and is headed to FL this week. Tomorrow (11/28) from 6-8pm Mcdonalds in the Hamden Plaza will match what is spent and make a donation to the team. We are asking that people come out and support the kids. Thanks
