Scot X and Barbara Tinney are the ones who recognize the real issues and can obviously see thru the smoke and mirrors. Why are kids joining gangs? How is a "gang"defined? where are the jobs?Where are the social outlets for kids?Why not take all that federal money and support the reopening of the Q House which was a huge resource for New Haven residents? Where is the support for struggling families?Who will address the selective enforcement of the law?If this plan was so great why does the city Holder come from have more murders than New Haven?I am so sick of the grandstandin that has been going on since we got another chief. I'm even more sickened by these phony "initiatives" that do nothing more than feed the egos and families of those who are not at all impacted by the violence.
