HOUSTON -- (October 17, 2012) -- The Office of Outreach and Health Disparities in the NCI-designated Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine will host an educational drama that focuses on the early detection of breast cancer Monday, Oct. 22, at the Greater St. Matthew Church in Houston.
Written and directed by Thomas Meloncon, the play, titled "Before Time Runs Out," concentrates on the importance of family and friends and the positive role they play in the lives of those who are diagnosed withbreast cancer as well as promoting monthly breast self-examination, clinical breast exams and annual mammography.
The play is free and open to the public. It will start at 7 p.m. at the Greater St. Matthew Church, 7701 Jutland Road, 77033.
