About Florence Williams

Florence Williams is a contributing editor at Outside Magazine and freelance writer for publications including the New York Times, Slate, Mother Jones, and High Country News. Williams focuses on the environment, health, and science in her works, for which she has received awards from the American Society of Journalists and Authors and the John Hersey Prize at Yale, among others. She recently published her first book, Breasts: A Natural and Unnatural History, to much critical acclaim.
