The Community Health Center's Health Fair, held as part of West Indian parade week was a sun lit, fun filled and info filled event.
I was blessed to participate in distributing anti- smoking, smoking cessation, smoking prevention information. Non-healthy behaviors interact and encourage one another. If you stop one then you can move onto the other areas. If you continue a negative behavior it can encourage other sinister friends to join the party.
Smoking not only pollutes your body, it pollutes mother earth and second hand smoke and now even third hand smoke harms us all.
We each can do our part. Let's light up the world and not make it smoky !
