New Haven clergy seek to strengthen ties between police, community through ambassador program- The New Haven Register - Serving New Haven, Connecticut: "“People of faith believe there are consequences for choices. The Biblical perspective is you reap what you sow. Some of the things are happening because we’re making bad choices, and police aren’t the bad guy.”
To kick off the program, the ambassadors are acting as hosts for a Community Church Week to spark a dialogue about pressing issues in the community.
The first will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. nightly next week by First Cavalry Baptist Church at Lincoln Bassett School."
