National Park Foundation’s American Latino Heritage Fund Selects Bauzá & Associates To Develop Brand Identity
Official Charity of America’s National Parks Taps Bauzá to Develop Brand Identity for Fund Established to Integrate and Celebrate Contributions of Latinos in the American History Throughout the National Park System
Bauzá & Associates, a full-service integrated marketing agency that specializes in transcending general market brands to the Hispanic and multicultural markets, announced today during Hispanizice 2012 that it was selected by the American Latino Heritage Fund (ALHF) to develop its brand identity.
As Chairman of the Board of the National Park Foundation, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar announced the creation of the American Latino Heritage Fund in June 2011 as part of the Foundation's initiative to promote and protect America's diverse history and culture throughout the national park system.
The Fund will serve as a vehicle to build support and help strategically integrate and celebrate the cultural, economic, and civic contributions of Latinos in the American story as told through our national historic landmarks, monuments, parks, and sites across the country.
“We selected Bauza & Associates after a national search as it was apparent they had the understanding and enthusiasm as well as the creative ideas we were seeking,” said Midy Aponte, interim executive director of ALHF.
“We are honored and thrilled to have a role in the creation of ALHF’s brand identity for such an important initiative for U.S. Latinos,” said Hector Bauza, CEO and president of Bauza & Associates. “We look forward to working closely with the ALHF and applaud the National Parks Foundation for creating a way to promote and preserve the role American Latinos have played in shaping this country.”
With offices in Hartford, Conn., and Orlando, Bauzá and Associates is a full-service marketing communication agency that guides general market organizations in effectively marketing to the rapidly-growing Hispanic population and other multicultural audiences. Its clients include national, regional and local companies in numerous industries including healthcare, financial services, retail, utilities, higher education and non-profit.
