NEW HAVEN — Maxim Thorne will be giving out a lot more Gs than As this semester at Yale University.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, students in Thorne’s Philanthropy in Action class are getting $100,000 to donate to charity or worthwhile causes in any way they see fit. Future “Philanthropy in Action” classes also will get $100,000 to spend.
