11am Dr. Andre Johnson will share about Henry McNeal Turner. He has written a book entitled An African American Pastor Before and During the American Civil War: The Literary Archive of Henry McNeal Turner. Dr. Johnson will be signing books.
1pm Juanita Patience Moss will share about her African American ancestor that served. Her book entitled The Forgotten Black Soldiers in White Regiments During the Civil War, has the names of many African Americans who did not serve in United Stated Colored Troop regiments, including her ancestor."
