Connecticut Capoeira Center in New Haven to hold open house at new home (video)- The New Haven Register - Serving New Haven, Connecticut: "After 15 years operating out of a church basement in the city, Connecticut Capoeira Center has a new home of its own at 1175 State St. and will hold an open house/grand opening Saturday.
In addition to capoeira under the direction of Mestre Efraim Silva, the center in room 207 will offer zumba, yoga and samba in the spacious studio. All are invited to watch classes for free or sample them for $15 each from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. For $50 one can attend all the day’s workshops. At 8:30 p.m. there will be a party with Latin music."
