Your Presence Will Make this Meeting a Real "Power Point" experience! We're counting on you..

Join the Morning Glory Dancers, Heart of Worship (the COTR worship Team) and Connecticut dignitaries as we host this year's Bells of Hope Event.

We'll be raising awareness of the plight of Connecticut children who are waiting for homes and lifting them up in prayer. 

Too many foster children in our country wait far too long for permanent families.  In fact, nationally, there are over 107,000 children in the foster care system awaiting a family. Some of these children will never be adopted and will "age out".  Of those who age out, approximately 50 percent of them eventually experience homelessness or become incarcerated. Most will never finish high school and many of the girls will end up becoming single mothers, repeating the cycle of poverty, abuse and addiction that brought them into care.

  

What a great opportunity to invoke the presence and power of God in the plight of young people in need of homes. What a great opportunity to remind our own children of how blessed they really are!   

Joining us for the evening will be:

-Commissioner Katz, Commissioner of DCF

-Ken Mysogland, Director of Office of Foster Care and Adoption

-Gary Doyons (husband of Jocelyn Maminta, News Channel 8 Reporter) will give testimonial about his experience as a foster child.
