Ficklin Media Note: Let me be very clear , if Interim President Stanley Battle does not become the next president, then whoever the person is, be it male or female will surely be able to walk on water. Interim Pres Battle is certainly not a mythic hero, but no one has demonstrated such academic and community leadership in the history of the University in such a short time. Check his "interim" record. If someone else is chosen, then we only have good times to look forward to, for that person must have convinced the powers that be, that he or she is almost a super hero-heroine in the academic-community realm. I look forward to the decision !
